That’s a wrap!

To-go meals are never hard to do, you just have to have the right tools for the job. Now I have one more idea for everyone, then I am thinking of a pumpkin series!

For my last segment, I am going to do a pizza wrap. What I would do is put some sliced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, daiya soy cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings in a tortilla and go! If you want to nuke it in the microwave later (if available) or eat cold.

Dont ever be afraid to experiment!!

Sandwiches, cont’d

Week 2 of sandwiches! Here’s one you can try if you want something tex-mex!

1 can kidney beans
1/4 cup bbq sauce
Chili seasoning to taste

Combine these ingredients, nuke and set aside, for there’s a round two!

1/2 cup rice
1/4 cup soy cheese

Nuke this in the microwave and combine with your beans!

In the past I have made this alone but hey, it tastes good in a wrap or on some bread too!

Happy, Healthy and Ready To Be Awesome

Now that I am out of my mourning stage, I say its time for some cooking! Since I am back in school, I am doing a to-go theme for the rest of September. Today, it’s a samosa wrap!!

Many of you are saying to yourselves, ‘well that’s easy’ but for the rest of us that don’t even know what a samosa is, here is a rough idea you can take to school.

Items needed:
An extra large whole wheat tortilla
Already made mashed potatoes*
Soft tofu, drained and pressed
Cooked peas and onions
Cumin, coriander, turmeric, fennel seed and pepper flakes
A mixing bowl and spoon

Mix together mashed potatoes and tofu until you get a smooth consistency. Add in peas and onions. Mix. Add all spices to taste. Put mixture on tortilla and wrap up!

*I hope you know how to make vegan mashed potatoes. If not, please comment and I will make a post of it!
