Refocusing On Myself

I know I haven’t been on this blog in a while. I have been rediscovering things that I absolutely love: concerts, Cleveland and working out.
I have been to two concerts in two weeks. I had forgotten what it was like to go see a band i love with what seems to be a thousand other people with positive vibes. Everyone singing the lyrics and enjoying themselves.
THE LAND!! The Cavs won a national championship and I couldn’t be more proud to say I am from NE Ohio. Plus, the city keeps getting more awesome everyone I go up there. I need to move and have my heart beat in time with this crowd.
I have been slacking on my workouts, so I have been switching it up lately. I swim and do a little lifting here and there.
I haven’t felt the need to be adventurous in the culinary world. I am in a wierd funk where I’m not hungry so I eat only because it’s vital for life.

Why I Am No Longer Going to Talk About Popular Topics

I have used YouTube in the past as a guide for what I should be talking about whenever I have run out of ideas for topics. I need to stop.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but why does everyone think theirs is the right one? Why call out people who you know nothing about. How many times do I have see a video for one topic come up on my recommended list? It’s ridiculous. Some of these YouTubers just rehash or piggyback what other vegans are saying. Just like the video and move on!
I need to be a voice to the people who don’t live in some vegan paradise. Not everyone can live in CA, HI, Australia or Thailand. I need to speak for people living in the not so vegan Shangri-las and more in the suburbs or inner cities. If I can be vegan in NE Ohio, anyone can be vegan!
Anyone can post a what I eat in a day video, but the masses need cooking classes or some sort of REAL education on how to feed oneself on a vegan diet (no cookbooks or ebooks. Some can’t afford it). People need to stop bitching at each other in the vegan YouTube “community” and start going out and show people that the vegan community is all about being the best person you can be without harming animals.
